Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Chitra Dinakar

On behalf of the ABAI, I would like to extend our most sincere thoughts and prayers to the many family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Chitra Dinakar.
Dr. Dinakar passed away on March 27, 2020, after a heroic battle with a medical condition emblematic of her approach to patients, science, and her family and friends. Dr. Dinakar is thoughtfully remembered as a compassionate caregiver, and extraordinary clinical investigator.
Dr. Dinakar is a past valued member of the ABAI Board of Directors, cherished for her energy and enthusiasm for the specialty. Here are just a few remembrances shared by current Board members:

Dr. Dinakar will be sorely missed by the ABAI, the profession and all who had the opportunity to meet her.
