Dana V. Wallace, M.D.
Dana V. Wallace, MD, ABAI-certified, FAAAAI, FACAAI, is an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Allopathic Medicine.
She practiced allergy and immunology for 41 years in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is currently working as a consultant.
She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, and completed a residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and fellowship in allergy and immunology at Roosevelt Hospital in NYC. Dr. Wallace has served as past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (2010-2011), World Allergy Organization (WAO) Board of Directors (2012-2015) and Website Content Editor-in-chief (2013-2019), Joint Task Force on Practice Parameters co-chair and member (2005-2020) participating in the development of over 20 guidelines, and past President of the Florida Allergy and Immunology Society and the Broward County Medical Association.
Dr. Wallace is the recipient of the ACAAI’s peer-voted Gold-headed Cane Award (2019), the highest peer-voted award bestowed to an allergist. She has received the ACAAI Distinguished Fellow Award (2018), ACAAI Distinguished Service Award (2009) and the ACAAI Woman in Allergy Award (2008).
