Chelsey Williams, Director of Operations
After experiencing an unforeseen year, Ms. Chelsey Williams is looking forward to what 2021 has to offer the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Ms. Williams has completed her first year with ABAI after the retirement of Lawrence Vapniarek. During this time, Ms. Williams has demonstrated her ability to produce a volume of work for scheduled projects, as well as graciously handling unexpected circumstances. She was instrumental in leading staff with the development of a COVID-19 plan to begin working remotely.
She inspires staff to continue working as a team to accomplish goals, and has a keen sense for detail which will serve her well, not only as she continues to learn Board processes, but in all aspects of her career at ABAI.
From her short time in this position, Ms. Williams demonstrates an effective leadership style – this is evident by her skills in working and communicating with the staff, Directors and stakeholders; she will be an asset to the continued success of the organization.
