Effective January 15, 2025 Maintenance of Certification (MOC) renamed Continuous Certification Program (CCP)

To be in line with other American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) member boards the name of ABAI’s recertification program “Maintenance of Certification (MOC)” has been retired. The new name of the program is the Continuous Certification Program (CCP) which reflects a more active approach to lifelong learning. The name change to CCP conveys a physicians’ commitment to maintaining their approach to lifelong learning.
Please note, while the name of the recertification program has changed, there has not been any program changes. All the components and requirements of the recertification (CCP) remain the same
